East Park Wolves in the local newspaper 10/02/2016

East Park kicked off their training last Thursday evening, with British cycling Coach and new East Park member Bob Prince putting 20 members through their paces, all done without any bikes.

The training included running, skipping, jogging and weight lifting over a few hours. It soon showed how the winter break had taken its toll on rider fitness, however all the riders looking forward to next week’s session.

East Park Wolves took Cycle Speedway to the West Park Family Fun Day on Saturday, setting up a grass track to give hundreds of children the chance to ride a Cycle Speedway bike.


The club's members were kept busy all day with children coming back to have go after go and showing keen interest in attending training nights to try it out on the real track.

The Wolverhampton based club were joined by Craig Ansell from British Cycling, who helped the club out throughout the day, giving coaching to all the new riders.
